I had a tooth with some internal resorption that had had a root canal on it, had some periodontal involvement with it, which means that there was a pocket around the tooth. It got inflamed and remained inflamed, and there was some tenderness, and my husband, Dr. Dunsworth, said that we needed to get the tooth out. We were in Colorado, and we made a special trip home and had Dr. Phillips — he worked me in to be able to see it, and we took it out. When I came into the office, they took really good care of me and took my vital signs. We stayed the night here in Dallas and turned around immediately to go back to Colorado the next day. I had no discomfort whatsoever. Dr. Phillips is a very well-trained oral and maxillofacial surgeon. I would highly recommend him for any of your oral surgery needs that you may have.
