Pre-Operative Instructions:
Before Anesthesia

Do not eat or drink anything (including water) for 6 hours before your appointment.

Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time, and bring your consent form for surgery with you (if you were given one at initial exam).

You must bring an escort with you who can drive you home after your appointment. The person who comes with you will need to stay in the reception area of our office until your surgery is complete and you are ready to go home. You MAY NOT USE a ride service such as Uber or Lyft to go home following your appointment. If you are in need of ride assistance, please let our office know and we can recommend a service that we know and trust to get you home.

Please give us a call before your appointment if you develop a cold, flu, sore throat, or any other symptoms of illness.

If you must cancel, please call at least 24 hours in advance.

Wear comfortable clothing. Do not wear tight-fitting or binding clothes.

Empty your bladder immediately before your appointment.

Please remove contact lenses or glasses before surgery.

Please have the number to your preferred pharmacy available, in case your doctor would like to call in prescriptions for you.

Thank you for putting your trust in us. We wish to make your surgical appointment as pleasant as possible. Should any further questions or concerns arise, please call our office, and we will be happy to assist you.
